Salem Oncology Centre has provided care to patients from around the world for over ten years. Our multicultural sensitive staff is attuned to the special needs of international patients and their families. We are trained to handle these needs in many exceptional ways, among which are:

• Language assistance in Spanish, Italian, Arabic, French, Greek, Armenian and Turkish.
• Air travel information and scheduling.
• Arrangements for transportation to and from airports, including assistance through customs.
• City tours, restaurant information and reservations, tickets for cultural and sport events.
• Assistance establishing banking in Houston.
• Hotel reservations and arrangements for long-term housing in Houston.
• Access to fax, photocopier and e-mail.
• Patient advocacy within Salem Oncology Centre and also with collaborating medical institutions.
• Access 24 hours a day, seven days a week to our International Patient Coordinator, Eleni A. Papageorge by calling 713-796-1221 or 713-594-7128.

One more unique way Salem Oncology Centre accommodates international patients, is through an international referral system. We also have satellite cancer treatment centers, one of which is in Rome, Italy.
